Industrial pump distributor Salmson South Africa has broadened its delivery capacity in water transfer, sewage and effluent applications with a new combination of high-tech pumps bearing the renowned WILO and Salmson brand names.
“WILO and Salmson today form one ‘family’ brand which delivers solutions to all pumping requirements. Big or small, there are now very few applications for which a WILO or Salmson pump cannot be found,” says MD Errol Cornelius. The range of WILO and Salmson-branded pumps and pumping systems includes stainless steel vertical multi-stage pumps, borehole pumps and motors, centrifugal end-suction pumps, horizontal split-case pumps as well as sewage and drainage pumps, with an increasing emphasis on high-efficiency products, leading to lower life- cycle costs. The nationwide extension of Salmson South Africa’s pumping solutions capability follows an extensive reorganization of the French-based company’s local operations. “Salmson is now better equipped than ever before to meet the varied needs of industry, national and local government to ensure the optimum use of water and energy resources,” Cornelius says.
