The first mistake on the left side picture is it should be rotated 90degrees clockwise! There is no drip tray and what the vacuum breaker is doing on top of the draincock is anybody’s guess. The electrical connection is prone to water intrusion in the present position. One cannot see much on the top of the geyser due to poor lighting, but no vacuum breaker is evident at the highest piping point. Everything else is too murky for comment.
On the right hand picture, I take it that the photo is a bird’s eye shot, but which way is up? The geyser inlet does not appear to be at the bottom of the geyser, and what the relief valve is doing in that position, only the plumber knows. It looks to be on the inlet line! \no drain pipe from the relief valve, no vacuum breaker, no stop valve on the inlet for Latco valve maintenance, and to have the hot water outlet sitting halfway down shows the geyser should be rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise.
Rather than spot the mistake, it should be spot what is correct! I am not a plumber but used to sell Latco valves in Durban in the ‘60s.
